เด็กมัธยมปลาย dek64 (ม.5) และ dek65 (ม.4) โดยเฉพาะเตรียมตัวรู้จักข้อสอบ TGAT ตั้งแต่ปี 2464 จะการมีข้อสอบ T-GAT เพิ่มเติมเป็นตัวเลือกให้มหาวิทยาลัยที่ต้องการวัดด้านความถนัด และสมรรถนะใช้เป็นองค์ประกอบคัดเลือกใน TCAS
TGAT หรือ Thai General Aptitude Test เป็นข้อสอบที่พัฒนาขึ้นมาใหม่ ซึ่งคะแนนใช้ยื่นเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยได้ โดยจะเริ่มเปิดรับสมัครสอบในปี 2563 เพื่อเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยในปี 2564
T-GAT ข้อสอบวัดอะไรบ้าง?
- English Communication การสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ
- Critical and Logical Thinking การใช้เหตุผลเชิงปริมาณและการคิดอย่างมีตรรกะ
- Future Workforce Competencies สมรรถนะในการทำงานอนาคต
ซึ่งข้อสอบ T-GAT จะเพิ่มเติมจาก ข้อสอบ GAT/PAT ข้อสอบ 9 วิชาสามัญ และข้อสอบ O-NET ที่ยังคงใช้เป็นองค์ประกอบคะแนนคัดเลือกอยู่ ซึ่งเป็นการทดสอบ Aptitude & Competency Examination มี 3 Domains ได้แก่
(A) English Communication (800 คะแนน)
– Evidence-Based Reading
– Writing and Language Usage
(B) Cognitive & Logical Thinking (800 คะแนน)
– Quantitative Math
– Analytical and Logical thinking
(C) Future Workforce Competencies (800 คะแนน)
– Essential skills
– Global citizen attitude
